A brief plan for all the everybodies doing launch things on or about April 3, 2021.

Schedule Outline

  • Durango Train departs on or about 4pm MST March 31 for Haluapi Mountain Campsite, AZ

  • At 8 AM PST April 1 the Durango Train departs for Lancaster, CA

  • Durango Train arrives Lancaster AirBNB ~1PM PST April 1 and begins flight ops preparation

  • Joe Barnard arrives Thursday-ish to Lancaster AirBNB

  • Friday April 2 USC provides 1 Hamster unit to Joe for integration for flight

  • Friday April 2, Extensive ground tests. Weather review. Document and Sim updates. B-roll filming. Head to sleep early

  • Saturday April 3: Launch Day

    • Depart Lancaster 5AM PST

    • Arrive at FAR NLT 7AM PST

    • Waiver opens at 8AM PST

    • Sirus off the rail ASAP

    • 60G AVA Flight

    • Virgo II

    • Lumineer

    • Dayna’s flight

    • Xyla’s flight

    • Recovery Operations

    • Optional Telescope viewing session at evening

  • Sunday April 4 - Backup recovery ops day. Transfer HQ from Lancaster to Irvine

  • April 5 - April 15 - Work. Screw around. Don’t catch COVID.

  • April 10, 2021 Launch CTRL+V

  • April 17, 2021 Backup launchdate
